Founded in 1931 with the aim and objective of serving both the Jewish and broader communities, the Union of Jewish Women are still going strong, 90 years later.

Ingrid Koor, Chairman of the Johannesburg Chapter, took some time out to chat to us about their goals and visions for this year. From outreach programs that give mom’s of new born babies, blankets and clothes rather than newspaper, to go home with to a Kosher Mobile kitchen delivering over 100 meals a day to those who are unable to care for themselves.
